Weddings in England

London and nightclubs, green pastures and castels, these are a few of our favorite things for a wedding location in England. If Blenheim Castle is your venue, you can organize a civil wedding in the grand Marlborough room with soaring painted ceilings, and the reception in the Orangery, a soft vanilla toned room with white marble floors overlooking the Italian gardens. The grand entry and library are also available for drinks and other key wedding moments.  You will have a small army at your disposal to carry out the wedding plans down to the smallest detail. Delightful for a Christmas wedding, nothing could be more elegant, but you will see that Leeds Castle, Eltham and Orchardleigh are venue options that vie with it to provide noble staging of your wedding celebrations. The Royal Pavilion in Brighton may sound overwhelming, but it comfortably seats 40 people, thus it is perfect for an intimate ceremony. Perhaps regal grandeur does not fit your personality, how about a Tudor Priory in Suffolk, a sober hall of white wash and chestnut beams, in a homey garden setting. The irresistible Feathered Nest Country Inn in the Cotswolds, offers the pint, the pillow, and in this case, the promise. Voted pub of the year several times running, this retreat provides country fare taken to the gourmet level, four fresh looking rooms, and sincere personal attention will bring this venue to the top of your list of wedding destinations.

If you could describe your perfect wedding location would it be set in a country hotel, large enough to accommodate all your friends and family, with a traditional atmosphere, but every comfort. Is this place surrounded by a perfectly manicured  lawn that never ends, with a clear blue swimming pool overlooking a secluded cove with the waves swirling over the rocks and sand? Maybe they should have a separate little cottage just for the couple after the ceremony, and they should have fresh scones and cream with tea for a hen tea party, and beautifully presented seafood for the reception. All of this exists at Watersmeet in Devon.

In Northern Ireland start in Belfast at the truly elegant Europe Hotel. Their rooms are arranged using a refined color palette and traditional furnishings which will lend warmth and mellowness to your wedding celebration. Culloden Estate and Spa is a venue just above the city, established on 12 acres, it represents everything you would expect of a grand home in Ireland, and they have considerable experience in weddings.
