Campeche in the southeast part of Mexico curves along the Gulf, and has long strands of beautiful beach for your seaside destination wedding. The capital (Campeche) was founded in 1540 and is a world heritage site, it also has abundant wildlife and Mayan ruins. Loreto is a paradise for fishing and water sports on the California peninsula. The climate and landscape of this location are nearly desert, and that makes an interesting contrast with the wealth of marine activity. Villa del Palmar is definitely the venue most capable of organizing everything for a great seaside wedding. Cozumel is a smallish island just off the coast, an ancient Mayan settlement was the first established here, and little progress has been made since there is still only one major settlement, leaving the rest of the island free of construction with an extensive natural marine park along the coast.
